Q: Can you explain the Campus Online?
A. The ICC Online Campus is an optional training service for those wishing to practice for an upcoming certification exam, brush up on professional skills, or fulfill continuing education credit for an existing certification. The campus offers a variety of online courses, which are divided into three groups: certification examination courses, general course topics, and state-specific training. The certification exam practice courses contain quizzes and a timed exam based on material similar to that covered in the actual certification exams. You can use a course for 99 days, 24/7, and take the tests as many times as you like.
Q: Is there any instructor involved?
A. There is no instructor involved. Our courses are self-study courses, and guide you through the process completely.
Q: Is this course self-paced?
A. Yes. The courses are entirely self-paced. You may use your course however you like, whenever you like, from the moment you register and for the entire 99-day subscription period that follows.
Q: How can I use practice exams?
A. All of our certification examination courses will include a timed practice exam. This timed exam is designed to simulate the format and content of the actual exam experience. In addition to this timed exam, each CEP includes 100 practice questions throughout the course.
Q: How long will it take me to complete this course?
A. Each course is designed so that an expert can complete the entire course in about 2 hours. However, this is not a "time limit." Our students can access their courses for as long as they need to study, and as often as they like within the 99-day subscription period, starting the moment you register.
Q: Do I need books for this course?
A. It is strongly recommended that you obtain any references listed in the Certification Bulletin while preparing for your examination. Both the practice course and the examination itself will be based on these references. While no books are "required" for the courses, they are highly encouraged, and are critical to getting the most out of your online training. Q: How do I get into my courses?
A.First time users need to create a student account. Returning students can log into www.icccampus.org using their existing username and password.
Go to www.icccampus.org .
NEW STUDENTS: Click "New Users Register Here" and complete all of the required fields. Once completed, you are registered and may begin browsing the catalog and adding courses to your cart. When you purchase the course(s), you will be able to use them for the next 99 days every time you log into your new account (just return to www.icccampus.org and enter your username and password information).
RETURNING STUDENTS: If you are enrolled in a course, you must log into your account and then in the following page you'll see any active courses with a small "Launch" button. Click "Launch to access your course. Make sure that your pop-up blocker is turned off. The course comes up in a separate pop-up window.
Q: I do not see the course I am looking for.
A. If you do not see your certification practice course listed here, please check back often as it is very likely being developed. We are always developing new courses here for our Campus Online, and courses are constantly being released.
Q: What is the "registration deadline"?
A. The "registration deadline" always lists the current date, and has no effect on your registration. The "deadline" refreshes daily, which allows the course to remain always available to our students. So you can register for any course listed in the catalog at any time without worry.
Q: I received an email that says I'm finished, but I'm not finished yet.
A. If you received the automated "course completion" email, it is because you have passed one of the "passing" thresholds needed to obtain a certificate of completion for the online courses (75% grade, OR 95% attendance). However, you may continue to use your course for the remainder of your 99-day subscription period.
Q: How do I log back into my online course?
A. Go to www.icccampus.org and enter your username and password. There is a link here to retrieve your log-in information if you have forgotten it.
